HISTORY OF NJHS<\/h4>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

The\u00a0National Junior Honor Society\u00a0(NJHS) is an international student organization that consists of chapters in\u00a0middle schools\u00a0(in the range of grades 6-9 depending on the school<\/strong>). The NJHS was founded by the\u00a0National Association of Secondary School Principals, and today has chapters in the\u00a0United States, other U.S. territories, and around the world.\u00a0 <\/sup>To be considered for membership, applicants must reach the five standards which include leadership,\u00a0citizenship,\u00a0character,\u00a0service, and\u00a0scholarship. The National Junior Honor Society teaches students leadership and citizenship, as well as provide educational opportunities.<\/span><\/sup><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
